We were on a waiting list of a berth, and were lucky enough to get a 4-person berth shortly after departure.

There are also 2-bed berths, single beds in a dormitory area, and some people just slept in reclining chairs in the movie area.
The second day, late in the afternoon, the water got very rough, and by nighttime a lot of folks were a bit green around the gills. We spent time up top and in the movie area where we could see the horizon. When it began to get dark, we headed down to our 'suite' and lay down with our eyes closed, and slept through the worst of it. Unlike the first night (which we recounted earlier in the blog), there was no drinking and funmaking in the bar the second night.
